Escort Radar's Shifter VX technology launched last year in the redesigned Custom Installed RADAR and LIDAR defense system, the Redline Ci360c. Now, we are going to have this same active defense available as a standalone device, which can be installed as a LIDAR only defense system, or as the perfect add on to a windshield mounted RADAR detection system to provide full protection at an incredible value. This system includes the controller, interface, Shifter Bridge and 3 LIDAR sensors (2 Transceivers, 1 Transmitter). As with previous generations, this ZR6 is designed to also operate alongside one of Escort's portable RADAR detectors to offer complete protection at a modest price point.
This system also offers a path to upgrade existing ZR5 systems as it uses the same interface and controller, meaning you can upgrade the Shifters and Shifter Bridge to provide the dramatically improved level of performance available with Shifter VX.
